A Tear Falling….
A single drop small and spherical
Sparkling like a sea shore shingle
Appeared in that corner twinkling.
It rolled down on blinking
A whole world in it carrying
With bliss and joy brimming.
Onto the earth it is falling
And slowly on its way leading
To relief, the soul burning.

a moment of sorrow?..i guess sorrow because in joy the soul never burns ! But am confused ..
bliss and joy in 6th line and relief to soul
burning in 9th line.is that an intented contradiction?
9 lines...the birth n death of a tear...expressed in a beautiful manner...apart from the last words f first two lines all ending words are in continuous tense..its worth a notice..good.
Merin..i wish if u could try n get the life f that tear drop after its death?
@nirenjan
thanku so much fr ur effort at analyzing the poem...the contradiction der ws dliberate n true...n thanx fr the suggestion...wil surely think f the eternal life f the tear drop...
